I am an introvert at heart. I started taking photos to capture the feeling of a moment and as a means to share those moments without having to say much.
My desire to write was driven by those internal moments you have with yourself. Those moments when you want to remember those feelings and those emotions moving up and down your body.
Travel is disruptive and forces you to think differently. When you step out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself you'll be surprised at how far beyond your previous conceived limits you can go. The challenge of learning a new language and adapting to a different culture brings so much excitement to my bones.
I am a first generation Filipino American. Born in San Francisco, raised in the Bay Area suburb of Hayward, and have spent the last 9 years living in my birth city. My mind is always moving and so are my feet. I like being in motion and feeling like I'm working toward something. For me, it's not always about the actual destination but very much about the journey and the in-between moments. The conversations, the food, the music, the sounds. The smell, the fear, the excitment.
