NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA

super-bowl-47

The Super Bowl is the grandest stage of all of sports. The air is full of electricity that's just powerful. The adrenaline is flowing, you walk into the stadium, you see the field, the lights, the cameras, the banners. All of the colors. All of the fans in the stands. It's really like no feeling that I could ever describe to you. It's the ultimate experience in all of American Sports.

Everything was perfect that day. It was a clear, sunny afternoon in New Orleans for Super Bowl 47. I tailgated with Aldon Smith's family. Alicia Keys sang the National Anthem. Beyonce performed at halftime. There was even a power outage. The San Francisco 49ers fell short that day and I'll never for get it. But less so for the score or that we lost. And more for the experience of something larger than the game itself.
